Nice somberness to this - I think the noise/grain contributes to that effect, as if it muffles the image, but still allows us to see, much like the veil over the subject's head.

The receding, parallel lines of the pews and desaturation really set off the lone worshiper in this strong image.

this is quite intimidating...and that says a lot about religion, though I am not sure if that was your intent..
th figure appears almost ghostlike...I really like the tones and it is verging on being too dark..I like that...

Oh man!!! I can't believe this only scored 5.1!!! I love this photo so much. It's a perfect moment capturing religion. I'm really disappointed that this didn't score better!

I like the grainy-ness and soft color of this shot but I'd like to see more of the altar...or a different angel of the woman.

Her head and body seem wide. Some sharpness and despeckle might have helped here. I am assuming this is a zoom shot and you were back a ways.
