Taken in my studio.

I took some other photos of this man with a large format (4x5) camera, in black and white, for an exhibition I'm preparing.

I used three 1.5Kw flashes. A completely lateral lightbox as a key light, and a softer one on the other side as fill. Another flash with much more intensity to burn the white background.

sorry, but as a photographer your job is to convince me.

photographically, this is a nice picture. However, I am not convinced that this is religious.

What a wonderful emotive portrait! The lighting is great, the shadows totally make the shot. And the facial expression seems genuine.

Technicals: you cut off the elbow, which is a shame, and I'm not sure the black shadow in the top right serves a purpose.

But yeah, good concept, well executed. Well done :)
