I love the reflections in the water and the image is really crisp. I think this would be better if half the sky was cropped out. Beautiful work!

I generally love IR shots but the reds are a little too overpowering for the white contrast in this.

Nope, sorry. It's a nice IR shot, but the subject says nothing about science to me, and the title doesn't force it to fit.

To be honest I really don't care for this. Everything just seems arbitrary and snapshot-ish. Even though the horizontal line is off centered the trees and the break in the clouds makes it all feel centered and boring. The rich reds in the water is the only thing that adds some appeal for me.

I think I would have made the sky greyscale as I feel grey and blue is a better combination than what you have going. Also, I'd try and find a way to add some tenison with the POV or something to heighten the interest in the composition.

Lastly, I don't really get the relevency to the challenge theme except for the title which to me doesn't reflect the actual photo, pardon the pun.

Sorry to sound so harsh but it's just my opinion so take it as that. Besides I am just commenting and not voting. :)

Reflections would be more pronounced if you clean up the lake IMO
