Love the star burst effect the sparks make. I only wish the welding was on something more interesting than a flat plate. 8 |

I like the blue colors of the smoke and the sparks. I can't really make out what this is, though. |

whoohoo, magnesium? i like the shot, and the crop. the border you've included is wonderful, as it's there as an afterthought, more than intruding into the picture. i think i would have liked to see it as just the blue line over the photo as the border, so the sparks could come through. the colors are bright, and your contrast is really well done. capitals in your title to make it consistent would have been good, but it's still a good shot. 6 |

I love this. Being an ex-welder in shipyards and power plants I really enjoy this image.. I wonder how many folks will know what it is? I look forward to hearing how you managed this shot. Good work. |
