Too much in the shot, perhaps a narrow DoV could have given it a greater feel and emphasised a specific paragraph

It would be be even better if you had the Bible open to Matthew 7:12 or Luke 6:31.

I think this is one of the better bible text photos. A good area is in focus with the rest slightly. The DOF is actually lifelike, not artifical looking.
