fairly simple shot, straightened, cropped, fiddled with colour balance a bit.

My girlfriend swore when I showed her this photo, which I'll take to be a good sign ;-)

Indeed a very nice shot! Shows the grandiosity of the place but keeps the human element with the figures in the foreground - like the bit of motion, too. And yes, just a wee bit off-straight, but still a great shot. Congrats on the new personal best, too!

Post challenge: Thanks for all the comments. This is my new highest score (but then I'm only learning)

I thought the people would divide opinion, I chose this pic on purpose cuz I like them :-)

Looking at it again I agree it's not totally straight, I thought I'd sorted that in editing, may be my monitor or I accidentally clicked undo or something. Ahhh well..

I like your composition and your perspective, the 3 people in the forground add alot. I think this image would be stronger if it was a bit sharper, still a good shot, represents religion well

POSITIVES: Nice color and I like the movement of the priests entering the sanctuary.

IMPROVEMENTS: All the lines of the photo lead to the statue of Jesus. With that being the case, a tighter crop on him and a crisper focus on him would benefit the composition.

Hope this helps!

IMO the people in shot distract from a otherwise nice interior shot. 7

Nice shot, people detract from beauty of the cathedral

Nice range of tones :) and your angle certainly makes use of the architects focus lines. Well shot.

Not bad... reminds me of my salisbury one called Pillars of Faith.

Needs to be straightened, possibly sharpened and maybe a border would help?

great perspective, warm colors, and a great space - but the image could be a lot sharper

Pretty cathedral, nice light. However, this shot would've worked much better if it was perfectly symmetrical - as far as I can tell, it needs to be rotated CCW.
