| Very good picture showing incredible emotion. The only thing I would say is that the colour of the main subject blends too much into the background. Another strength of this photo is the placement of the main subject, which way over to the side, still commands all the focus. Beautifully done. |

| Neat. I like the human-like stance and expression, but the image needs something more. Nice rule of thirds use. |

| I enjoy watching the Gorillas at the San Diego Zoo, as they strike such interesting poses, much like what you have here. Shame the concrete has such strong presence in this shot, and a tighter crop may have worked better. |

| This is such a compelling image. It's a look like this that makes it sad to have these animals held captive. Great image, just really sad. |
