Catalog and raw conversion in Aperture v1.5.3, export as .jpg -> ps-e cs3 -> crop -> black and white (100, 0, 40, 110, 110, 110) -> levels (20, 1.2, 255) -> contrast +15 -> resize -> USM (150, 0.5, 0) -> border (60 pixel top/bottom) -> save for web 85%

I like how he's checking you out. And he seems so out of place in a way - like in some lovely central city park somewhere.

The picture really lacks impact and the B/W is too dull and lacks tone.

Looks like he got loose and is just meandering along a park area. I love that he's looking right at you mid step.

Great contrast and I like the letterboxing. Many people don't, but I really do. I wish more people did, becasue I would use it myself a lot more.

A good photograph but I feel unbalanced as I look at it. I know your horizon is straight but it has that feel that everything is going to fall to the right. However you did a great job with light and processing it to black and white.
