| Not a big fan of how wide the yellow border is here, and overall seems to have too much Gaussian blur? applied. |

i really like the glowing yellow set on a dark background, usually with a tint of green. you have done that well, it does appear that you have a bit of halo around the stem where you dodged that area, I'm also not too crazy about the competing yellow area in the LL corner. personally i think this would be better without the bee, but maybe not, i imagine you tried a variation of this with out it and chose this one. i'm sure you'll get a few comments about the border too, but i like it.

| Very cool shot. Solid composition. Great color. This is an outstanding use of shallow dof. A very bold choice for border, some 'border nazis' may slam it, I think it works quite well for this image. Nice job! |

| this has some really great yellows. If the bee was in focus it would be 10 times better. Great job though, I don't blame you for staying a distance. |
