OH SO PRETTY!!! Heh, try the bear_musictechnique of doing a duplicate layer in gaussian and then play in the multiply mode. Might be really cool and all those light tones on the stems would POP out even more. Poppies are so wonderful.

The poppy-ness of poppies, well captured with the backlight. The wilting curves of the stems make this special. The flare was tricky, I can see that. But it does not take away too much and is apt anyway.

Very pretty. Have you looked at this with a crop just below that hanging leaf? Yes, you lose the upper light, but the flowers then stand out much better.
