Challenge: Tacky Holiday Decorations (Classic Editing)
Camera: Minolta DiMAGE Z1
Location: Tucson, Arizona - USA
Date: Dec 29, 2003
Aperture: 3.5
ISO: 100
Shutter: 1/250
Date Uploaded: Dec 29, 2003

Took a few pictures at different angles and thought this one was the best one.

The decorations are actually on all of the cactus in one of my neighbors yard. She said the decorations are from Mexico. She has had them for several years. They are made out of tin and have jewels and pearl paint on them. It was the takiest display I could find.

It's probably kinder to have the person who decorated this put to sleep.

Very tacky! Too bad this cactus wasn't indoors.

The title gets the image basic accross but it could be a little more creative. pretty cool shot though. 6

That's tacky ... a cactus Christmas tree?

A Christmas cactus??? The composition is nice, except for the brownish object in the left foreground. What is it? Could a change in angle or a tighter crop eliminate it?

Such tackiness! This is such a great concept - would like the ornament in the top left to be less shiney/hot. A slightly different angle would have made this one not just good but great.

Ouch! Certainly fits the challenge! What is that -- a fish on the bottom? Not sure you needed all that brick to the right, perhaps crop closer.
