My Subjective Affinity: 0/2
The use of the rule of thirds is why I gave it a 1 in composition. The rest of the composition really doesn't add to the quality of this photo. The lighting is very flat and colorless. The foreground is not sharp, and the distant background is not detailed enough to see any sharpness. I think a subject like this would be better suited to a night shot with a different composition, and a longer exposure to make the water appear misty. |

| Nice and crisp looking - The foreground black rocks that are out of focus are distracting. A much higher crop off the bottom just below the big wave would have helped with composition. |
