I gave your photo a 5. Outside the challenge, it is a nicely viewable. I like it more now it is not within the confines of a challenge. Pretty really. Precise.

Love the light emanating from behind the trees and the little oasis of colour in the trees. It's a good shot, but I think that it suffered because of the topic of the challenge, but as a picture in itself I really like it.

Really nice picture - I would struggle to see it as a double take, I think if you wanted that the water would have to be like a mirror and show every detail of the trees in great clarity.

But still a really nice shot anyway : )

well, there's the picture and then there's the challenge. I like the picture alright. The odd green light and the faded backlighting give this a sense of mystery.

But to try to rope in lake reflections into double take is a scarifying idea. Imagine if other people decided to do this. The challenge would fill up with yawnworthy landscape shots. Yikes.

I'm sorry, but I don't consider reflections to be two different subjects. That said, this shot is a little dark on my monitor, and I don't really understand the purpose of the green bit. With that desaturated, the curves would be nice, though.

Fairly gloomy picture this is. The splash of color from the lights stands out so well in contrast to the brownish grays.
