The crystals are a nice idea and background is nondistracting. DOF is a good way to differentiate the crystals. The reflection on the foreground crystal of what appears to be a window showing sky and trees distracts from seeing the similarities in them; perhaps some directed light on the foreground crystal would highlight the facets more like the background crystal. I might also experiment with positioning so the foreground crystal doesn't partially obscure the background one. |

It would be nice if the front crystal was in focus. |

Potentially strong subject material. The reflection of the window on the facet of the foreground crystal is a bit distracting though and I wish the foreground crystal was in sharper focus (maybe the background crystal should be the one out of focus). |

Or not.... The foreground crystal just does not work in both composition or it's out of focus'ness. |
