Chet's garage sports this sign every Christmas season. It stands about 30 feet above the garage. This photo was taken from a field behind the sign and then flipped, hence the supports blocking some of the lettering.

Greetings from the Critique Club

Initial thoughts/My opinion
Very tacky, well chosen topic. Too sad that it is not crisp.

Content/Composition
The sign you captured is awesome and one of the best in the challenge! Thumb up for that.
Regarding the composition it looks fine to me, maybe rotating it CCW to get the sign horizontal might be an improvement, but I'm not sure about that. Also some more open space to where Chet could tow poor Santa might be good.

Camera work -technically
The main issue with your submission is the exposure! But that's a problem many images in this challenge had when showing similar subjects. These tiny little lamps of various colours are so hard to get right, even the second placed image had some problems regarding this. To get the bright lights right, you would have needed a way shorter shutter time, but then the less bright blue light wouldn't show up nice.
I do not have a good solution at hand for this problem.
However, it seems the focus is a little off too, at least when judging form the rope hanging from the support. Or was it windy?

Digital Processing - Technical
Applying unsharpening mask up to the level where on sees the occurrence of grains in the night sky might have been good to increase sharpness digitally.

Fits the challenge
Of course it does it very well!

Good luck for your further submissions

This image could have used a bit of adjustment from levels as there is no true black (especially for a night shot).
