 I saw a shot on deviant art with a chick with a differnt statistic digitally written on her face so I thought about doing it in basic. I actually wanted two blurred women in the background to show the three women but I dont have any female models other than my daughter and it's not an image I wanted her associated with. I was supposed to be in focus with the label on my mouth but the label wrapped around too far back and became almost unreadable so I tried this idea and really liked it. I felt it gave it more of an "every woman" feel as well to have me so obstructed. I don't suppose this will score well but If it touches a couple of people or enlightens others that's as good as a ribbon for me. this is where I got my stats BTW. stats

Thanks for the comment. Yeah, I'm sure the grammer is incorrect. I didn't quote it directly. I wrote it my own way and it's highly likely I screwed it up. lol.

An excellent illustration of a terrible statistic, the frosted glass works very well and this would make an exceptionally good magazine advert (thats a compliment btw)

I like it..... Fits the challenge well, and although the image is not as appealing as some others, it is unique...

Why? Because we're still not as civilized as we probably think we are. I love the photo part, I'm thinking it was taken thru glass like a shower door - but the sign? Well, I guess that's part of your message which is a powerful topic. I'm gonna have to disregard it as distracting but go with a 9.

nice message. I always wanted to do a photo that stood for my beliefs like this.
