Interesting take on such an ordinary subject! I too, thought this was a bomb of sorts, even though it's not an ordinary household object! I thought it was the head of a ballpoint pen from the thumbnail. Nice shine on the metal.

I thought it was a bomb. Or something. the noise doesn't distract. makes it look old. Maybe a little more room on the right would be good.

Cool photo, I think the noise enhances it as well! I think that a little more room on the right would help just a bit but still nicely done!

I just can't seem to figure out what is the top or bottom of the lamp and from which angle you took it. But that is exactly what I like about it... keeps me intrigued and thinking. Nice!

Oh, I see what it is. Looks like a bullet or some projectile from the thumb. I do wonder if it could use just a touch more room on the right hand side; but overall, the grain and composition are very nice.

Interesting angle. Looks like a missile or pen point in the thumb, I guess I don't ordinarily run across a missile daily. Close crop on the right which I like.

I love the shiny metel point- the noise is not a problem as you really only see the subject (whatever it is !!!). The body is brushed metal And then the vents... you've got me stumped- great work !

Yes, still a bit noisy (and lots of high ISO photos today), but I like the composition and the conversion to b&w -- it really suits chrome and other shiny metal. I thought from the thumbnail this would be a pen.
