Creative image and a high score from me. Maybe a little overblow on the t-shirt, but considering the difficulty of lighting in this challenge, it's forgiveable. The skin tones are great as is the sharpness. Funny, this was the first (upper left) image in my random assortment of thumbnails. I really liked it and have maintained my high opinion even after viewing 242 images. |

Cool shot, a little bright on the subjects face and shirt. Could be more moody otherwise. |

The two light types don't match well. Creative concept though. |

The lasso is just a wee bit wonky but the image is stellar overall. |

Heh, I've got a real fire whip that I use for performances, so I can't help but laugh :)
(it looks like this)
Cool picture, very nicely done. The pose and facial expression are good. Objections: The highlights of the flames are a bit burnt out in places. You can prevent that by either moving the fire very quickly, or using a tiny aperture (and having a very strong light pointed at the subject at the beginning). Also, I think it's a shame that you're not holding some sort of handle that the fire could seem to be attached to (at the moment it's just hovering in mid-air, so the illusion isn't complete), and it would have worked better if you hadn't cut off the top of the flame. Still a very good shot though - I know how difficult fire-painting is! |

Back to bump you up to 8. Cool shot and you did well lighting the model to keep him sharp. I wish the wip/lariat had a handle but that's getting a bit picky! Well done. |

The pose seems pretty forced. I know it's hard to hold a position for a while but taking time to find a better one (like maybe the arm back more) and get a little more enthusiasm out of the model would have taken this image farther. |
