I used a small torch and circled the base of the rose to watch the light shine through the apricot petals and give a warm glow effect, hence why I picked the name. probably won't get anywhere but I like it. hope some of you do also.

the bottom of this image really doen't add too much and the crop is too tight. I would recommend having the rose off to the side on a wider crop with more of the stem present and less vase

I like the warm glow a lot. However, the aspect ratio is too thin: by cropping out from the bottom you would have had a better aspect ratio, and you would have gotten rid of the annoying reflection in the plastic / vase whatever it is around the flower.

Almost looks like a single light source not moving.
