Here's where the idea came from. It's a rope light (available at WalMart and Home Depot) wrapped around my body. I shot it with a black background and a 10 second exposure using a remote shutter release. I stood stock still for five seconds, then shut off the lights with my toe (push on/off switch on the floor) pulled a black t-shirt over my head (which I had been holding behind my back), switched the light back on with my toe and spun 360 with the time I had left (about 2 seconds).
