 What can I say? I had some pretty Gerber daisies and the pool was available. A great way to spend some time on a hot June afternoon--feet dipped in the pool with my camera just pushing this little guy around the water.

I did use a polarizing filter here--didn't want all the nasty reflections of the apartment units and other superfluous stuff but I wanted to keep the ripples at the bottom of the pool so...voila!

I haven't read the book yet but this definately reminds me of the cover. Excellent light and love the tension on the water from the petals.

Good contrast of color. I like the location of the flower. The only thing for me is the connection to "Why". That seems to be a case for a lot of the pictures here though.


I am not a good photographer, I do not claim to be better than anyone, any criticism is meant to be constructive criticism......

Really nice bright colors here, but the subject does little to move me.
