 A western hognose snake that belongs to a friend of mine. Rear-fanged, they are mildly venomous, but are one of the most docile species to handle and if bit the worst that will happen is a slight swelling of the hand.

I feel that for this you could have used more dof... while this does draw my eye right to the face... I find the rest of the image lacking.

Good picture of a snake, but it looks a little plain. A more interesting background would make it better for me.

I am not a good photographer, I do not claim to be better than anyone, any criticism is meant to be constructive criticism......
