Now how is the iguana so sharp and detailed when the kids are kind of soft? Either way, it's a fun candid with a perfect title. :) |

Cool iguana! I know it probably wasn't possible, but it would have been neat to get him (the iguana) in the shot, too. No doubt it wouldn't have been a tight enough picture for DPC purposes, but a cool picture for the boys. I like the way their heads are tilted towards each other - the front one seems especially engrossed. The sun here is a bit of your enemy, but I figure candids are something over which you don't usually have great control of the light - expressions are more the emphasis. |

Julianne, this is a nice looking candid shot but it seems a little soft. |

I like their expression. Seems a bit out of focus/grainy, perhaps from resizing? |

Super image for the simple fact that it makes me want to know what has captured their attention. A bit blown on (on my monitor) on some of the skin tones but an intriguing shot |

This is a crop of a larger image and it shows in the details. Also a sharpening halo is present. |

Terrible light, avoid midday. Photo is wonky. A square crop can't rescue a composition which is not strong. Not enough of a sense of story... the viewer needs more clues as to what they're staring at. Hands can be one of the strongest and most expressive part of a person. Look at the hands of the kid in red... you've chopped them off! |
