This shot has a nice soft feel to it. It sort of mellows me out. It's always nice to find a shot that makes you sigh and feel better with the world. Nice job.

Nice image, I like the composition and how you decided to focus where the brush meets the handle. I guessing a basteing brush!

Good question. I was trying some brush shots and I focused on the tips, but didn't like my results. I think the middle focus works ok here since there is another area to focus on with the band of white right in the focused area. What is this brush for, anyway?

Every brush has a purpose- I'm trying to figure out what this one is for ! The black & white stand out and the bristles are slanted so it must have soft bristles...I'm guessing a make-up brush??? Nice image at any rate
