| This says street scene more than candid to me (probably accentuated by the fact that the subject is looking directly to camera) However disregarding that its good image of a trader and interestingly composed |

| I can hear an accent in the title. I love this photo for many reasons. The tones are soooo warm. The dark background makes the man pop out. I love the many bottles because they add additional character to the photo. Even his hat thingy. The composition is perfect in the way he is off to the side. Everything is in nice crisp focus. I know many people are going to think this is not a candid shot because the vendor is looking at you. Well, as a person who has taken a candid shot on occassions they will look at you at the last minute when you are taking the shot. That is what I feel has happened here. It is obvious he is selling something and he happened to look your way and you were fortunate enough to get a priceless photo that is worth hanging on the wall. |
