Seems a little pixelated? I may be off-base here?

the colors are blown out from post processing, but it's a nice photo.

Let me start out by saying this is all just my opinion and while it might seem a little harsh I am only offering it to explain my vote which is a 5 in case you are interested.

First off, it's a good picture of a peacock however you've added nothing new here. This is by far the most common way to show a peacock, which is fine but then you run into being compared to all the others who have done the same exact thing and unfortunately this doesn't measure up to those. For me the lighting is really flat especially around the neck and the face looks a little blown out but it's hard to tell at this size. Regardless, the tonal range doesn't look good on the bird. Now the feathers are nice and how they stretch across the frame but as mentioned earlier this is so very common that I can't give you creativity points for it.

As for the title, I get the vibrant part but I don't really see "pure" here. However that could just be me so I would consider it meeting the challenge but no extra points for impressing me with the concept.

So that all said it comes to a 5. Despite everything I said it's still a very competent photo and it does have fairly good technique. More than anything it's just missing your personal stamp on it. Something that makes this shot yours and nobody elses. When you have that it will stand out in the challenge and beyond it.

"Eye-stopping"!! Vibrant and full of energy. Nice capture. The blue neck is bit distracting, not much, just a bit. Beautiful image.

In what way is it pure? IQ also seems rather poor.

His neck is soooo blue. It makes if look unreal and over saturated.

A lil too much saturation in the neck of the bird, but I love how it fills up the shot.. there's not one bit of negative space.. i love it!
