 My first attempt at a challenge, I hope that im doing everything right!

Inspired by the translucent red dice.

If you're only gambling with cents then I guess it's not all that bad :-) Nice detail and focus.

Nice but couldn't see what was your New Year Resolution without reading the title. The picture says: "Start playing is my New Year Resolution"

I really like the setup for this shot. The colors contrast beautifully, and good overall focus. What I thought could be improved upon however was the lighting. The reflections off the coin were a bit distracting, and perhaps a stronger light/contrast could have drawn even more attention to the differences in color. Good job! I give this a 7. Improvement in lighting would move it up to an 8.

The fundamentals of this shot are perfect, great dof and framing of the objects. The image seems a bit complicated to me though and I think it would have been better if it had just had one or two of the objects. Also the black cloth is the slightest bit distracting when it is in focus.
