RAW to PSCS2, dragonized,rendered for improving lighting a tad, slightly cropped, curves, smart sharpen, save for web. Taken in relatively bad light at 400mm, thanks for the IS.
If I shot this pic as jpeg and just posted it it would still have been, in my opinion an ok candid. An honest candid, one of more than 300 I shot this week. Many good ones, but this one speaks to me, haunts me.
One of the most heartbreaking pics for me to have taken.
This man is not only losing the battle against life, but obviously also against his fellow men. |
