| It seems voters find the not so naturally created beauty better.. the colours lack the wow factor...and the shutter speed on the water makes it very distracting.. It makes me want to either nudge it up or take it down..the middle ground just does not suit here.. |

Voters do like waterfalls...serene ones buried deep in the oversaturated lush rainforests. This looks less like a waterfall and more like the pipe of an aqueduct or something. The colors aren't especially appealing and the path of the photo leads your eye down and right out the corner. It feels cut a little tight. Technically, I think it's fine, the exposure seems okay - it just doesn't have a whole lot of appeal. I think the overall "browness" of the image, brown rocks and slightly brown water, probably detracted from the sense of pure as well.
I didn't vote...but hope that's a little helpful. |
