Nice blue eyes. I think a tighter crop to eliminate the chair in the background would make it less distracting.

Erm... far too heavy use of flash here. Top of her head is missing also, plus she's looking right at the camera which isnt really in keeping with my view of 'candid'.

Fraid this does not meet the challenge for me - This is not saying candid at all. She knows you are there and taking the pic?

for me this sort of interaction with the camera makes it not a candid. cute picture, though!

This looks to posed to do good in a Candid challenge... You used the onboard flash. This messed with your skin tones (too bluish) and makes the image very flat. Next time you may want to play around with more natural lighting (like by a window) and diffuse the flash (or better yet just turn it off and use a reflector) to make sure you have the catch light in the eyes as you have here.
