this was taken at a local bluegrass festival. the arm band says pick'n in the park. The reason i cropped in so tight was to not have everyone setting around him in the shot. I thought it was kind of neat how he was setting and watching the music.

To the contrary, I think the armband really real life details to this shot. Love the texture of the skin, the scar, the hair, the wrinkles ... fantastic.

this looks more posed, than a candid, but I could be wrong. It's actually a very nice photo

Super moment of inner reverie lovely B&W conversion and whether you cropped it this way deliberately or not the scar running through a rule of thrid point is great for drawing you in to the shot

The glare on the glasses that prevents us from seeing anything of his eyes is unfortunate.

Light isn't great. Exposure a little high. I don't like that the wrist and watch has been chopped in half. The expression doesn't really pull me in to this photo. Background doesn't work well. There's some text here both on his hat and around the wrist, but you can't tell what it is.

Does his wristband say '4th Annual Pickle..."?! I absolutely LOVE pickles, I will definately have to add this to my list of things to do before I die.
Great detail and nice lighting.
