Interesting shot, but not buying it for a candid challenge.

Jusr seems dull overall. Maybe playing with contrast & white balance/brightness might have made it a but snappier?

the shoes look like they're posing. not a candid. interesting pic, though.

I think I need to see a person for a candid shot to work for me... Good photo though.

Interesting shot, but I am having difficulty how an inanimate object can't help but be posed, and thus not candid.

SHoes on wires always make me laugh (and ask the questions how?a and WHY???) and you have done a good job of capturing these. B&W works well especially the contrast of the shoes against the cloudless sky. Nice framing to get the shoes smack over the church cross as well. That being said it does not really say candid to me (imo)

While this photograph holds interest for me - the shoes dangling over the cross begs a question or two - I don't see it as a "candid" per se since I look at candids to be of people, not just the remnants or indicators of their existance.

Nice capture - Like this a lot - Just needs some much needed contrast and punch in the black and whites.

sorry i just can't give you credit for a candid when it has no people in it. what is "candid" about it?

This doesn't portray the theme candid strongly for me.

Nice street shot, but unfortunately I can't score it high in a "candid" challenge where you expect to see people.

When I think of "candid," I always thing of shoes... (?)

I'm not sure where the candid comes in?
Although I guess the shoes aren't aware you are taking their picture!

IMO Should have a person in the image.

Not very candid

DNMC IMHO

Sorry, I find it really hard to classify inanimate objects as candid.
I realize its not posed like a still life, but in no sense of the word can it be described a unawares, since it can never be aware.
