 This was taken in the early morning. I was trying to capture two things with this. Firstly, the sense of slow but constant change inherent in seasonal movements, and secondly, the introspective beauty of autumn. When I saw the bench sitting under this tree I felt it was the link that expressed both of those things - To sit and watch the wind and trees play, to sit and contemplate the beauty of the change, these are childhood dreams.

Tones, saturation.
Epilogue: I was suffering from severe 'lens envy' at the time as just right of frame another photographer was snapping away at birds with a number of L lenses. One day...

super idea for the challenge & this looks like a perfect tree & spot for this shot.. I wish you would have bumped up the saturation on all colors on this.. Let me see how bright & vibrant these reds & greens are.. It would help with distracting my eyes from the ultra white sky.. 7 for me. :-)

nice subject, not sure if it is the fence angle or just a tilted horizon, but the effect is a little odd feeling.

Too flat for my taste, the colour needed to jump out more for me to score higher than a 5. Sorry
