The wind was blowing and ruining my shots of flowers in the yard so I decided to go with it. This large orange poppy was shot using a slow shutter (1.5 sec) and allowing the wind to whip it around. Thought it made a good abstract of color transitions. Hope you agree or could this be headed for a brown as being too far out of the box?

Converted from RAW in RSP with slight exposure boost, a little fill light and bumping the curve up a touch in the middle. Ran through Noise Ninja on auto. Resized, applied slight Gaussian blur and saved for web in PSE4.

Whoa! Guess I was right that this could win the brown. Only one away and my all time low!

Personally I don't really care for this for the fact that I can't tell what it is (yes I understand it's an abstract). And there's not really any part in focus, nothing really draws your attention except the darker spot towards the middle.
