Love the vibrantcy of this photo as it shows so many different shades of the colour and the simplicity makes it a very eligant photograph.

Filling the frame is ok, but I think the image would have more impact if you backed off a bit more and/or had a little more contrast. The red of the bloom is overpowering.

I really like the closeup rendition of the rose; it's perfectly lighted and very sharp. I think the frame seriously detracts from the photo, especially as it is inside the picture, rather than around it.

Stop and smell them, yes! Frame them? NO. It's a strong image BEFORE that big-a frame. It doesn't need containing. You did it with the original image.

This looks a lot like one of the soft focus winners. It would be nice to try and avoid repeating a picture so closely. slightly blurry

Very nice, the border adds a lot to it but I'd have made the red match the red in the photo better. I like the soft focus.

the rose is beautiful.....very nice composition and color.....I just wish it were sharper in focus, but that is just my opinion! I am still giving it a good score!

too unsharp for a macro shot. Also slightly over saturated with red. Some water drops would be a good inclusion next time.
