The view from behind an arrow slot in a very old part of Skipton castle. This part of the castle was built in c1300 by the Normans. PP simple cropping and resize.

This would be a great shot to practice HDR and tone mapping with. That would help you to bring out more detail in the brick and bring back some of the blown out detail of the outside. I think that with HDR you could leave this in color effectivly but your b/w treatment works too.

Lovely. The light is a bit blown, but it works for me here. It's powerful, for a powerful subject. Nice.
