I wanted to find some object in the house that would just be super funky and fun and nobody would know what the hell it is--however, I settled on this--some transparent shrimp tails that I ate for dinner. Just cut off the actual 'tail' part and put them on some wax paper and lit with a flashlight from underneath. Exciting set-up, no? Just like Fergie, I live the glamorous life.

I'm stumped. It looks like something you'd see through a microscope. 5.

? No clue. Looks highly magnified for some reason with good detail.

Almost monochrome with fade to black on right side that does not seem to add anything to the shot. Excellent puzzle - no clue what this is.

This is gross, like a close up of toenail clippings or sloughed off skin.

This looks like a very close macro, cool details and backlighting in the object....whatever it is! I have no idea, it looks like you sliced something very thinly, maybe a piece of fruit like an apple?

They look like the shells after you have eaten prawns. Good colour and clarity and I really like the dark edge on the right.

um, the leftover 'husks' in the bottom of a bag of store brand microwave popcorn. And I would say probably from a bag popped on a saturday night.
