Thank you all who left a comment. I cropped a section of the image since I have no macro lens. It is the bottom of a coffee thermal and I poured water into it.

Looks like water but it's really too dark to tell. I think it would be a better image if it were a bit brighter and didn't have so much glare.

Interesting macro. Lighting is a bit harsh especially in the big reflections.
