Hook a little dark and fades a little too much into backrgound. I'd like to see it a little more. Perhaps using a silvery one instead of black might help it show up more (if you agree with me on that point, of course if you don't and wanted it to fade into the background your choice is spot on;)
Lovely light through the fruit.

Cute idea and original. Good lighting too. The color looks different from my kiwi but maybe a different variety.

| The hook is nice but not the kiwi. When the contest is done, beef up the green to a nice bright on and make te background less yuck brown/ |

| Really nice concept. I think you needed a stainless steel hook (silver) to show up better with your background. Were you going for a gradiation of color in the slice itself? The green is pronounced near the top and fades to all yellow at the bottom. To me, this lowers it's aestitic appeal. Still, great shot. 9 Swash |

| A lighter background would have really made the fish-hook more prominent and obvious, I think. Nice lighting though. karmat |
