I'm back. my best guess is it's either the steps of an escalator or a knife sharpener.

Stacks of something, maybe metallic, possibly a tool of some sort. Maybe an old typewriter but I think they're too close together to be that. Very cool lighting with the shadows to leave us guessing.

Truly no clue. I love this shot though. Its symetrical and has nice and mysterious shadowed areas.

very nice lighting. the light/shadows really help drive the shot.
my guess- stacks of square washers used in the contruction of high end exercise equipment. :-)
