I have all of my Grandfather's slides to convert to digital. I will eventially build a website dedicated to his photography and have prints for sale. This is my resolution...and it is quite a task.

Very little editing..desaturated, bumped levels and contrast and added the border. I didn't even crop this, as I was in a hurry.

Shoot me down...I'm ready for this to bomb.

BTW...I used a soft focus filter on the camera, so I'm sure I'll get a lot of "it's blurry" comments. :-)

At least it's not plastic mounts & maybe someone (from NASA) instead of Nikon will come up with a way to use the SF-200 stack loader! Make sure you do it ...whatever it takes it's worth the effort... The COLORS will amaze... in fact I would have rated it 1 point higher had this been a color shot.

You certainly have your work cut out for you! Good contrast and very rich looking blacks, just the highlights in the upper left are blown out a bit too much, but not terribly so. Composition is a little busy, but well designed.

Nice composition. I like the B&W with this. If it had been color, I suspect that the viewer would be drawn to the light box rather than taking in the entire picture. It has much more impact this way. The table is a little dark. You can't see the brush against the table. Good luck in scanning!
