This silly bird.

One of it's babies, learning to fly evidently, flew into my shop yesterday. I tracked it down and had to try a few times to catch it so I could let it back out. Momma' bird here (assumed was the Mom & not the Dad) hopped in the shop, and always led me to where the baby was, and of course flew off when I walked over to find the baby. Finally found and caught the youngin' and let go outside, at which point it flew up into the tree. Momma bird came back and chattered up a storm, like it was scolding me. What a hoot!

This was shot, laying on the floor in my shop, and was just sitting there at the opening of one of my stalls.

Manual exposure mode, 300mm focal length, full crop.

Looks like she brought you a gift with that bit of greenery placed in front of her. Nice story.

This is purely gorgeous, the focus and DOF are PERFECT. Love the ground leading up to the bird and the transition there of into the colour.

Beautiful lighting on the sparrow. They're great characters, and such familiar little birds.....your sparrows look exactly the same as the one's that hang out on my clothesline every morning waiting........and scolding me cos I'm late bringing them breakfast.

Aww, maybe she was thanking you! But you may wish to avoid showing Hitchcock films while she's around, just so she doesn't get any ideas.
