Under the tree

Clean and sharp. The bottom half of the image seems a bit dark, but it would be hard to do anything about that without either using a GND filter, or adjusting the top and bottom separately in photoshop.

I think a different edit could have greatly improved your final score. For now I'll give you a B-. I mean a 7.5

I'm guessing that that is them by the tree. In terms of technical delivery generally strong and it meets the challenge well (possible crop at the bottom to lose the little shadow in the bottom corner?)

Part of me is drawn to this as a reflection of what we see each day, roads, curbs, grass, but at the same time I feel it holds more promise; why does "Waldo" sit against the tree; is he reading? writing? thinking? I can't really tell because of his size (which contributes to hiding Waldo, but for me weakens the image a bit); I also would have liked to see a bit more contrast in the image, as the lighting on the grass is a bit flat to my eyes.

Not bad, but not very compelling/interesting either. Technically, it is a well done picture, but there isn't a lot in it to make it stand out amongst the crowd.

Wish the colors were more vibrant.

Lovely. Good focus, good exposure on the foreground. The sky's a bit washed out, making the portrait orientation a little unappealing. But nonetheless, a worthy entry. Good luck!

The greens look a bit off. Nice composition overall.
