I was playing around with this shot, and thought that it turned into something looking a little sci-fi-ish :) So I thought I would enter it just to see what comments I would get. I am no expert at editing - only do basic editing - so I hope nobody minds too terribly much that I entered an "expert editing" challenge with this :)
It's just a seashell, rotated, switched to negative, changed hue to green. The blur at the top is actually the shadow of the original from my really bad lighting. I added the "stars" or white dots (2 different sizes) in PSP7.
All auto settings on camera and macro.
Editing in acdsee and/or psp7 (may or may not have included, but nothing more than): auto levels, switch to negative, rotate, blackpoint, gamma, contrast, sharpen, edge preserver, salt & pepper, re-size.
Thanks for looking :) |

The green on black is very striking, There is some visible noise in the photo but not enough to really hurt it. |

Uhm, not really impressed with a shell in space. Sorry bit this isn't going to vote very high. |
