My guess is that this shot was not staged for this challenge but just happens to fit the theme...and it works well!

Nice, I like how he blends in with the other posts.

I would have preferred a more symmetrical view.

Very clever, waldo almost but not quite could be taken for one of those white pillars. Amazing how he is poitioned so as not to break the symettry of the pillars

Good job, though possibly a tad dark in the top third

I really like this shot; the muted tones, matching both on the lower wall and on the upper columns, give the image a sense of cohesiveness for me, one that seems to fit with my idea of China's communist theology. I love that you've chosen a person who almost could have been one of the white pots (or whatever they are), and whose appearance comes close to those things. I might have tried this with the person offset a bit (making Mao a bit offset, as well), but that might not have worked. Interesting image, well presented.

Not a bad try at all. I like the way he continues the pattern of the posts. Now if only he was on the other side of that hedge!

Great capture. The person really gives a sense of "scale" to the picture.

Clever way to hide Waldo. However, I don't find the photo all that interesting.

Heh, from the thumbnail, I thought he was just another balustrade. Well seen and shot!

I like how you hid waldo admidst the posts. Maybe having waldo have black pants and the shirt tucked in would have been even better. If you even knew waldo that is. Nice work.

Good idea. I'd prefer to see them facing the camera, and more even with the white posts. But a good shot nonetheless.
