 Redwinged blackbird. I wanted a picture of him singing but none of them turned out nearly as well because he turned his head away from me whenever he opened his mouth.

PP - converted from RAW (exp. compensation +2, saturation and sharpness 50, luminance noise 20, white balance 5550), cropped, USM, added border, resized, sharpened

Nice catch. Great focus and sharpness, especially on the beak. You must have a nice zoom. Wonder how this would look with some of the top and left cropped. It's great dof but the space seems a little vast, even for a solo challenge.

Very nice photograph...excellent exposure, color and clarity. The DOF is just perfect. You get extra accolades from me, as I've tried to get photos of these birds(don't know the species, they are just instantly recognizable with those orange tips). They are very skittish and extremely tough to get exposed right. Well done!
