OK, I read nowhere into it what you were thinking when you shot & processed this, Donna; gave you an 8 for a really creative & bright image!

This was my feeble attempt to inject artistic meaning into photography.
I'm very pleased that some of you are beginning to get beyond the
Surface and see the entire picture.
The fruit is the object of my 'still life', nature, lifecycles and fertilely Weave there way through this piece.
The tree has fallen victim to some kind of insects, which are
Devouring the the leaves, denoted by the the blackened, yellow,
Leaves that have been eaten away. In the middle of this I inserted
The 'fruit' in the form of a male phallic symbol a metaphor of fertilely,(ovaries just weren't the same)Containing the seeds of life ready to Carry on the cycle.
The message "in nature nothing is wasted and even in death we find the
Makings of life".
Plus I like the colors, I enjoy looking at it and I'm happy with it.
And it is a photo.

this would make a great poster or ad for a farm, or as an album or magazine cover. great procesing- the colors are very vivid & upbeat

I'm not sure if I like the processing on this, its a little unnatural.

Interesting still life. It might be better if the DoF were more shallow so that the grass were even more out of focus.

That's a bit of a stretch don't you think.

interesting composition--no comment on the message. Somehow the colors look flat, maybe because of low resolution, low light.

Clever idea, but you need to back off on the processing.
