 This was taken at the dedication of the first Sudanese Episcopal Church in the US on June 3, 2007 in Phoenix, AZ. The man holding the cross never spoke while I was there, never showed any facial expression beyond intensity. I couldn't stop photographing him. The framing of Bishop Smith of the man and the cross was intriguing to me.

The face of the main subject is just a black blob ... I think the exposure isn't right
