 I got this idea from a post I saw somewhere, where a guy created a UFO attack by cutting and pasting, plus lots of filtering and colour adjustsments.

I started with the pastoral setting with a country road. Added (cut and paste) of an image of a flying saucer I took while watching the History Channel's show on UFO's (how convenient is that?). The gill man is a brush created from the 50's horror classic "Creature from the Black Lagoon."

Crop
Burn of the clouds
Applied draganizer to entire rural scene
Added flying saucer
Added gill man
Adjusted curves
Added "rays" from the saucer
Healing tool on clouds and rays
Soft paint brush - painting on clouds and gill man
Aetherize filter in Flaming Pear
Selective adjustment of gill man: brightness and contrast
Clone on black and road area
Save for web

Just found out you can't use artistic brushes. Thought I'd post this so others wouldn't get DQed for SciFi.
