the yellow cast , the oversharpening, and the negative space, are what killed the image.
this should have done better with a tigheter crop , and cooler colors. |

I like this one a lot, especially the composition as you have so much dead space, but the way the bug is positioned on the bottom, it just seems to work.
If I was to be really critical, the green on the lead the bug is sitting on looks a tad overexposed but I dont think it affects the image too much.

| Nice bug shot :) The bokeh is good, but a bit distracting, perhaps a slightly tighter crop would have pwrked better. |
